Mixing and Mastering your Song
DIY Recording Advice
I'll mix and master your song. If you only want one or the other, I can provide, of course.
Mixing brings all of the elements in your song into one unified piece; all parts working together for the sake of the track. Every track is unique, and I'll treat it as such.
Mastering takes that entire mixed track (or several tracks in the case of an album) and makes it /them the best they can be, ready for the radio, CD, streaming, or whatever the destination is.

I understand the appeal of doing it yourself, after all, that's how I started out. There's nothing more exciting than getting a microphone and recording a demo or single, but it can be difficult to get that sound in your head to the sound in your mic.
That's why I offer recording advice for DIYers. Send me a message, and we can chat about your gear, rooms, and getting the best sound for your project with what you already have.

Hello! And welcome to the Noise Studios website! Noise is a small home studio run by me, Jack Howe (pictured to the right), a musician, recording and mix engineer currently based in Southwest Virginia.
I grew up just outside of Richmond, and cut my teeth playing with bands on the Richmond rock circuit. As such, I have a great affinity or guitar, distortion, drums, and generally loud things.
I would love nothing more than to share this love with you. Contact me if you're in need of mixing and mastering for your recording, or even if its your first time recording yourself or your band and you want some advice on getting the best sound possible!
